You may have encountered Feng Shui practitioners who charge, for example, as follow:
3 room HDB flat - $488
4 room HDB flat - $688
5 room HDB flat - $788
Executive Apartment or Mansionette - $988
Executive/Condominium - $1088 or more
It does not make any sense to me when you have such cost structure because, regardless of the room type, the effort in the feng shui audit is the same even though the area varies. Therefore, there should only be one rate in my point of view.
Are you saying that because one stays in a bigger flat or condominium, he or she is more well-off and hence you can cream off more money from he/she?
I believe some practitioners would think so.

Depends on how your wisdom function. Whether you view the cup is half full or half empty.
How about looking from the angle of charging $1088 for customer but discounting for poorer person??
1) Is there a standard rate?
2) Should charges be very expensive or should it be free? Why?
Admire your open perception. You are at the level of a master
hi anonymous
I kinda agree with what you mentioned.
I have my own fee. If a poor comes to me, I will do it for a very small token sum (the customer can just give me a red packet) or even on a pro-bono basis.
Expensive or cheap rate is relative. There is no standard rate but there is a market benchmark.
Sometime, the deal is based on an offer and acceptance arrangement.
Different folk different strokes.
Thanks for your compliment. I am still far from being a master. So much more things to learn from the great masters. :)
