Too much Wealth drains the Health 财多身子弱

What happens when one's bazi is overwhelmed by wealth stars? Does he become super rich?

Not really. He can actually be quite poor.

In bazi classic, there is a famous mantra that says that "Too many wealth stars will make you weak." Do not take this literally. It does not refer to your physical health.

Wealth element in the study of bazi, or Chinese destiny calculation, is what the Day Master controls in accordance to the 5 Elements Theory.

If a guy has too many of such elements in his bazi, like in this case, he will find it very difficult to control and make good use of them. In real life situation, it means that this person is not prudent in managing his finances and likely to spend more than what he is capable of earning.

Does he have bad health? No. In fact, he has good physique and is a sporty person who has very good stamina. I hardly hear him complain of any sickness.

The issue with such wealth-abundant bazi is that the person likes to go for quick buck and takes short cut especially through betting. For men, it is interesting to know that they are hen-pecked too.

Does that mean that you will perpetually remain poor for the rest of your life? Well, it very much depends on whether you will go through a luck cycle that lends you the strength to harness all the wealth. The Yong Shen or useful star in his case will be Friend or Rob Wealth in the form of earth element. In Chinese we usually say "using friend stars to share the wealth" (用比劫来分财). Therefore, he should enter into a partnership if he ever decides to do business not just because he is "weak" but he needs another person to help him pause and think – something he is lacking.

Wealth star in bazi also represents girlfriend or wife. A common question that I get is that do many wealth stars imply many wives? While we cannot simply equate the number of wealth stars to the actual number of wives he will have, we can safely say that for such bazi, there will be more than one woman in his life. He will also go through one divorce due to a 3rd party's intervention – but from the wife's side and it was a secret love affair. How do I know? There are hidden combinations taking place between the spouse palace and its adjacent palaces. This is a very strong tell-tale sign. This client of mine later admitted it.

hi Jo man,
Thanks for this blog entry. You couldn't answer my question any better than this.
Your example chart definitely has tonnes of wealth elements.
You mentioned that Robwealth or Friend star can help the person control his wealth. How about Resource star? Can Resource star help strengthen the DM to control his abundant wealth?

hi Beanie

You "trigger" this post. :)

Resource star in this case is fire and is very weak in the winter season. Still useable but not as effective for such structure.

"There are hidden combinations taking place between the spouse palace and its adjacent palaces. This is a very strong tell-tale sign." May you explain the aforesaid as I don't understand what combinations took place. Thank you.

hi star

hidden combinations (between hidden stems) take place between Horse and Pig. Did u see it?

Hi Jo

What about a really strong DM but has one hidden wealth element or none at all...will this consider him or her to be poor for life?

i've seen like the heir to walton's fortune, one of the daughters , who have no wealth element at all...but a major robwealth in the month pillar, yet she has a fortune of USD 9 billion. how so?

hi Leo

I know where you coming from.

The scenario you mentioned could belong to a special category bazi or a weak chart.

If I tell you robwealth = wealth star too, can u fathom it?

Post up the chart so that we can have a better picture. Thanks for asking. Good question:)

Hi Jo Ching

Are you referring to the combination between the hidden HS "Jia & Ji to form Wu" and "Ren & Ding to form Jia"? How do these 2 new hidden HS relates to the "Third party's intervention"? I do not understand and hope you can explain in detail. Thank you.

Hi Jo,

Now you got me really excited about this...robwealth = wealth stars? how so?

As for the chart i mentioned. It wasn't USD 9 billion, it was USD 20 billion instead!...i was like oh my god.

here's the name and chart of the person in question

Alice Louise Walton
(born October 7, 1949)~no hour pillar

X Geng Gui Ji
X Wu You Chou

It seems to me she's a strong DM. Master Jo could you decipher this? i'm kinda excited to know. Thanks a mill.

Jo Ching said...

hi Leo

RW can also be a wealth star depending on the strength of the bazi. Although we do not have the hour pillar, based on alice's backgrd and wealth, she has a weak bazi chart.

If not she can never be a billionaire.

Leo said...

Hi Jo,

I thought the earth stems are a resource to her, and also she was born in the You month, meaning metal is prosperous. How then can she be weak?

Besides, RW is only equal to wealth if the DM is weak? true?

Jo Ching said...

hi leo

we may have different school of thought. For billionaire charts, usually there is a common trait. You can read my earlier post on "What is in a bazi to be rich".

How rich a person is depends on quality of yong shen.

Yes she is a strong DM but a weak bazi. Does this make any sense to you? Maybe not at this stage.

I may be wrong. Best is to have her hour pillar to prove our theory. I have read more than a thousand bazi. I can see certain pattern.

i quote Master Jo

"Yes she is a strong DM but a weak bazi. Does this make any sense to you? Maybe not at this stage."

I guess what Master is saying is that
she might be strong DM ..but overall the chart is weak in certain elements?

Jo Ching said...

hi Kim

you are absolutely right. And vice versa. :)

Hi Jo,

when the day pillar involves into Heaven/Earth combo. Say, the DM is combining combining into the Hidden stem of the day branch, such as Ji Hai, for example. Would that pass as extramarital too?

Regards,

Yuuki

Jo Ching said...

hi yuuki how is thing?

ji hai no. Because DM only combines with main qi.

ding hai yes. Ding and ren combines. NOt extra marital affair but more of stronger bonding.

Yuuki said...

Hi Jo,

I am good, thanks. I trust you are busy with your lectures and consultations and writing up this blog too. Good on ya!

Thanks for the explanation to the combination regarding Heaven/Earth combo, this helps in my learning.

By the way, when day branch combine into either month branch or hour branch, but the resulting transformation is the 7K or anything other than Friend/Rob Wealth, it means, no extramarital affair, right?

What I am trying to confirm is, to tell the extramarital affair is when the combo involves transform to Friend/Rob Wealth element to the DM, right?

like in this post example, The wu and Hai, the Ji of Wu combines with Jia in Hai that results transformation into Ji, therefore the Robwealth to the Wu DM.

While the Ding in Wu combines with the Ren in Hai, does not count as it transform into the wood element which is an influence element to the WU DM.

Am I on the right track so far? That the main and only tell tale sign of this chart is the Jia-Ji combo?

Cheers,

Yuuki

Jo Ching said...

hi yuuki

for hidden combo, there will not be any transformation.

on your questions, actually I do not look at the way u are looking at it (from hidden stems). However, I encourage you to do your own research to validate your concepts.

there are a few more dimensions to this. Hidden combo is a sign. Then we must chk if together with LP and AP there will be another combination. Plus, need to see if robwealth star reveal on top.

I would like to share a chart with many DW - no hour pillar
ren gui geng
wu wei wu
this is a weak chart. does this mean he cant control his wealth stars - meaning his wife /wealth and that he will have many marital affairs? someone said that this is a DO chart so he is 'well behaved' whereas another predicts that this person cannot be trusted. I am in confusion with the way different people interpretes charts or different school of thoughts. Signed, Curious

Jo Ching said...

I see this as a weak chart and I do not think he will have "many" extra marital affair. DO is positive and he can achieve reasonably good wealth through his good water/metal luck cycle and connection with his Noble people. I do not see him as a cunning person. Cunning or dishonest people's chart are not like this.

Anonymous said...

Thank you, Jo for sharing. How do you define whether a DO is positive or negative. Or whether a DO is wealth or wives. Also if a person is in D&E would it affect the DO? Or when a person undergoes D&E like for this chart - would it mean that he will be emotionally affected. Many read his chart as being a miser, unstable, with an explosive personality. Correct me if wrong.
thank you, signed curious

Hi Jo Ching,
I accidentally stumble into this blog/website and found the topic in discussion interesting. Can I replace the subject DM with Jia Wood DM for purpose of continuing the discussion?

How can this DM mention below has full control, generate and eventually retain its wealth? If a weak DM is surronded by many earth elements (2 DWs & 1 IW -in heaven stem, hidden earth branches and/ or earth branches in all pillars except in the Day pillar but undergone a water 10 years luck pillar cycle. Can he/she capitalises on it to realise its full wealth potential beside going into biz partnership as advised by you in the earlier comment? There is a Jia Wood (Friend) with Yang Water pillar, then follow by a Yin Wood (Rob wealth) with Yin Earth pillar in the luck cycle.

Thanks

hi anonymous

suggest u email me and show me the bazi chart. In your case, it may be a follower. thanks.

Hi Jo, is this the email address? destinyasia@hotmail.com
Not sure a follower chart can either have a capacity to accumulate wealth or have a balance chart whilst undergoing a favourable 10 years pillar luck cycle?

Jo Ching said...

yes send to that email. Will take a look. thanks.
