Property Selection for HDB

For the past few weekends, I have been going around Singapore with clients to view condominiums and to visit show flats. No, I did not double up as a part time housing agent. I have a very onerous duty, that is, to select a home for the client. Usually, clients would want a house that brings prosperity, good career luck, health and family bonding.

I told them I will try my very best to help them to achieve what they want because a little bit of trade-offs are to be expected. Those who want to achieve a perfect house should then consider to buy their own land and construct it themselves.

The process of selection should be rigorous, careful and always place your clients' interests at top most priority. Why? Very simple, property is a big ticket item and it usually costs your client his or her life savings. Can you imagine your client moves into the house you pick for him and his career begins to move downhill, children get sick and relationship with wife starts to turn sour? Worse still, he has to wait for 5 years to get his HDB flat sold. I am not sure if the family can survive well by then.

Prevention is better than cure. I personally embrace this notion. I always urge people to select a good house - in feng shui sense. Anyway, if your house feng shui is bad, you can only implement cures to mitigate the problem. Do not be so naive to think that everything can be cured or turned around especially when you come to HDB or condominiums.

Anyhow, my peers always ask me what guiding principles do I adhere to when doing selection or what feng shui techniques do I apply especially in situation where the condominiums or flats have not been built. I think it is timely to share the techniques that I use since we are into a property-buying frenzy.

I must qualify that there are few methods one can use to assess a property. What I am sharing here is actually something I personally find it very useful over the years. I combined a few techniques together and these are mainly from the Xuan Kong Feng Shui system.

Not in any order (used mainly for high rise):

1.Check the site plan for swimming pool position in condo in relation to your block. Very important if you wish to usher good wealth luck.

2.Use google map to check the location of nearby river or water mouth and how it flows.

3. Check the floor plan for missing sector. HDB flat always has this problem. Missing sectors bring along a set of issues. Please search for my previous posting on this.

4. Check the flying stars at main door, stove and bed. The stars must support the endeavours of the client. For instance, I will pick 6,1 for people who wish to climb corporate ladder.

5. Check the life gua of the person. Make sure the star at the room door is not in conflict with the person occupying the room. Best to be producing in.

6. Check which level's unit is good to buy. This is done by using the Wu-Zi luck method to make sure the unit's good luck is not expiring.

7. Check the flying stars residing in the life palace of the owner's gua. They must enhance
the breadwinner.

8. Check the location of elevator in relation to the unit.

9. Check if the level's luck is supporting the house (main door).

The above are not found in any text book. It is based on my experience and research. For practitioners, I welcome you to adopt the method and give me your valauble feedback.

hi seewhy

we may have different school of thought but it is possible especially when the correct annual star comes in. The clue here is they must be all white stars.

Best is to leverage on the Cui Shen if you into speculation. Hope it helps :)

for your case, your office may not really be in that sector depending on the qi distribution method u use.

for result, we aim for the door to have good stars. cheers.

i see. Yes, hope we can discuss and share our experiences.

Are u running your own fengshui firm? You may like to email me (destinyasia@hotmail.com) your contact so that when I go KL next time I will contact u.

Do u read chinese? My advice is: read to broaden your horizon but frankly books do not reveal the "secrets". Bazi has too many school of thoughts. Did u manage to learn from any good bazi master in HK?
